Gas Angel are looking for a Customer Service Administrator (FT & PT)

That’s where you come in… Gas Angel is looking for a hardworking and caring Customer Service Administrator with experience in solving customer problems and willing to go the extra mile. You will be an excellent communicator, have great administrative and organisational skills and regularly use your own initiative to resolve customer and administrative requirements with a positive ‘can do’ attitude.
For over a decade, thousands of North East Customers have placed their trust in Gas Angel’s knowledgeable and friendly gas engineers. We take pride in coming quickly to the rescue when heating emergencies, such as no central heating or no hot water occur.
Alongside our emergency work Gas Angel are new boiler installation experts, and boiler servicing and gas safety specialists. Our work is endorsed by consumer group Which? giving our customers the confidence and peace of mind that they are choosing reputable gas central heating engineers to carry out work in their home.
This role is rewarding and challenging in equal measures, helping a customer through a difficult situation that involves their home and is impacting their day to day life is highly satisfying. That being said it is not always easy and often calls for us to be the calming influence that eases a stressful time for the customer.
Here is a taster of what you’ll be doing on a weekly basis at Gas Angel:
- Building great relationships with inbound customers
- Giving technical support and resolving faults over the phone
- Correctly logging customer data in to our systems
- Liaising with your engineering colleagues
- Managing your time
- Managing engineers time
- Managing customer expectation
- Liaising with and building great relationships with suppliers
- Creating customer quotes
- Generating customer invoices
- Providing supplier purchase orders
- Successfully using email, word and our social media accounts (Facebook and Twitter)
- Achieving your KPI’s
- Problem solving
- Meeting deadlines
- Demonstrating compassion and excellent customer service
- Learning and adapting to change as it happens
Full time £17,500 (rising to £18,500 after probation)
Part time £17,500 pro rata (rising to £18,500 pro rata after probation)
Based from our Newcastle Quayside office.
