Gas Angel is looking for a Customer Sales Advisor who is well versed in using empathy whilst solving customer problems.
You have strong communication and administration skills and are willing to go the extra mile to ensure our customers feel well looked after.
You will be experienced in achieving sales targets and working towards customer service-related KPIs.
You communicate clearly and with warmth over the telephone and via email.
You have neat admin and organisational skills and regularly use initiative to effectively manage customer and supplier-related tasks with a can-do attitude.
For 15 years, thousands of North East Customers have placed their trust in Gas Angel’s knowledgeable and friendly gas engineers.
We take pride in coming quickly to the rescue when heating emergencies such as no central heating or no hot water, occur.
Alongside our emergency and boiler servicing work, Gas Angel engineers are boiler installation experts.
Our work is endorsed by the consumer group Which? giving our customers and employees peace of mind they are choosing to work with a local, reputable heating company.
The Customer Sales Advisor role at Gas Angel is rewarding and challenging in equal measures.
Helping a customer through a difficult situation that involves their home and is impacting their life in real-time is satisfying.
That being said it is not always easy and often calls for us to be the calming influence that eases a stressful time for our customers.
Here is a taster of what you’ll be doing on a weekly basis at Gas Angel:
- Building great relationships with customers by phone and email
- Giving technical support and resolving faults over the phone
- Scheduling customer appointments
- Correctly logging customer data into our systems
- Advising customers of services available and special offers
- Working to a weekly / monthly target
- Organising your own diary/workload
- Organising our engineers’ diary/workload
- Managing customer expectation
- Liaising with and building relationships with suppliers
- Creating customer quotes
- Generating customer invoices
- Providing supplier purchase orders
- Successfully using email, word, and our social media accounts (Facebook and Instagram)
- Achieving your KPIs
- Meeting deadlines
- Demonstrating compassion and excellent customer service
- Learning and adapting to change as it happens
Pay and hours…
Part-time – 25 hours per week.
Monday to Friday – 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM
£9.60 per hour rising to £10.00 per hour after a 6-month training period.
+ Monthly commission scheme
+ Additional hours available during autumn and winter months.
Based from our small Newcastle office in Gosforth with the option to work from home 2/5 days (on agreed days) if preferred.
