Our annual gas safety check helps keep your tenants safe and you compliant. Our Gas Safe engineers inspect each gas appliance and flue in your property and give you and your tenant a copy of the gas certificate.

Does a long boiler warranty matter?

In short, manufacturers give their best warranties to the boiler models they believe will last longer.

If boiler ‘A’ has a 5 year warranty and boiler ‘B’ has a 10 year warranty, it makes sense that boiler ‘B’ has been designed and manufactured to a higher grade in order to stand the test of time. The longer the boiler warranty the better the quality of the boiler. This means less repairs for you to pay for in the future but usually results in a higher upfront cost.

The good news is that in the event of your new boiler developing a fault during a warranty period, the manufacturer will organise a repair or replacement free of charge, providing you’ve kept up your end of the bargain.

Boiler warranty conditions may include:

1 ) Boiler installation by a Gas Safe registered engineer

2 ) Boiler to be registered with manufacturer within 30 days of installation

3 ) Flush of full central heating system

4 ) A boiler service carried out annually
